Abstract: | The seasonal dynamics and frequency of 156 species of Brachycera belonging to 14 families (including Tabanidae, Muscidae, Fanniidae, Calliphoridae, Sarcophagidae, Syrphidae, Conopidae, Anthomyiidae and Tachinidae) were studied in the north-eastern part of the Biele Karpaty Mountains of Czechoslovakia during 1981-82. Delia lineariventris and Helina fratercula were new for the fauna of Slovakia, and Pegohylemyia sanctimarci and Phaonia boleticola were new to the fauna of Czechoslovakia. |
