Medium-sized species with rather narrow brown facial stripe, dark triangle on scutellum, wing partly bare basally, hind femur with a few strong posteroventral hairs but without hair tuft, and male terminalia greatly enlarged with two processes on tergite 9.
Very distinct species with a medial black facial vitta, cell BM bare on basal 1/2, and 3rd and 4th abdominal terga each with a narrow yellow fascia.
