SUMMARY
Very distinct species with a medial black facial vitta, scutellum without defined black triangle, metafemur mainly yellow and small male genitalia. Species with a medial black facial vitta less evident than in other species, e.g. C. circumdatum. Male has anepimeron black and a broad yellow fascia on 3rd, 4th and 5th abdominal terga. Female has anepimeron yellow, a broad yellow fascia on 3rd, 4th and 5th abdominal terga and 2nd tergum with two yellow maculae slightly joined medially. The paralectotype shows the dorsomedial area of the scutum covered with grey pollinosity and a bluish metallic iridescence divided by two black vittae. In the male lectotype, this character cannot be seen.
