Citrogramma arisanicum (Shiraki)
Very distinct species with a medial black facial vitta, scutellum without defined black triangle, metafemur mainly yellow and small male genitalia. Species with a medial black facial vitta less evident than in other species, e.g. C. circumdatum. Male with anepimeron black and a broad yellow fascia on 3rd, 4th and 5th abdominal terga. Female with anepimeron yellow, a broad yellow fascia on 3rd, 4th and 5th abdominal terga and 2nd tergum with two yellow maculae slightly joined medially. The paralectotype shows the scutum with dorsomedial area grey pollinose with bluish metallic iridescence divided by two black vittae. In the male lectotype, this character cannot be seen.
Species originally described as Xanthogramma arisanicum Shiraki, 1930. Only a male and a female of the type series were deposited at the Natural Resources Inventory Center (National Institute for Agro–environmental Sciences, Ibaraki, Tsukuba, Japan), and both specimens belong to Citrogramma.
Synonyms: Xanthogramma arisanicum Shiraki, 1930; Xanthogramma arisanica of Knutson et al., 1975: 320 (cat. cit.).
