Hiatomyia willistoni (Snow)
General description:
This genus is characterized by the bare eyes and face, antennal pits confluent, and plumose arista. The typical features of the male genitalia are the shape of the excision in the hypandrium and ventrally directed right process of the anterior lobe of the hypandrium (Barkalov 2002).

Nearctic species known from British Columbia to Colorado, south to California.
